Joan Severson, Co-Founder & CEO
Joan brings over 25 years of experience advancing clinical trials through human factors design, decentralized clinical trials, and digital biomarkers derived from sensors, wearables, and mobile technologies. She led groundbreaking efforts in making complex trial workflows more accessible and efficient, bridging technology, research, and human-centered design. Joan founded Digital Artefacts, a technology company focused on decentralized clinical trials, and led it throught a successful acquisition by Clinical ink in 2021.
Bill Lynch, Co-Founder & CTO
Bill has more than 20 years of experience leading the development of enterprise-grade collaboration platforms and secure, high-performance systems. His expertise in building scalable software underpins HumanTrue's robust infrastructure for clinical trial automation and collaboration. Bill was one of the two co-founders of Jive Software, a leading collaboration platform and early pioneer of social business software. Jive went public in 2011 and was acquired by Aurea in 2017.
